Opposition to SB 540 Pathways plan

Which would  give away control over California energy to western states to a Regional Operator.  Proponents assure us that the Grid Regionalization problems  of AB 538 have been solved. It’s not true and would open us up to the  massive market manipulation that we saw in  Enron in 2000.  And they are  unable to truly justify such a dangerous move. 

We have a letter of opposition signed by 125 groups.

Supporting Roof Top Solar 

The  Green Team has for years supported bills to reinstate the incentives that  the CPUC, California Public Utilities Commission, has mistakenly  eliminated. Unfortunately, the captive CPUC, under Governor Newsom’s bad direction is harming the safety and  affordability of CA energy. We  look forward to changing this with a new governor. 

Supporting Campaign Finance Bill SB 42

Campaign  finance is integral to open elections. We had it and then got rid of it  and this bill allows it back to be voted on by the public.
